Dr. Charles Cohn
Dr. Cohn was raised in the Texas Hill Country and graduated valedictorian from Medina High School in 2002. After graduating cum laude from the University of Rochester with a B.A. in Biology in 2005, he then completed medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and decided on a career in ophthalmology. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Finally, he completed his residency in ophthalmology at Texas Tech University Health Science Center where he was named Chief Resident and won awards for best Grand Rounds Presenter and highest board examination scores. He also received the 2017 Physician Champion Award from Hill Country Memorial Hospital. Currently he serves as the Chairman of the Credentials Committee at Hill Country Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Cohn is a board certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who does everything from routine eye examinations and basic contact lens fitting to a variety of ophthalmic surgeries and laser procedures.
Dr. Cohn sees patients Monday through Friday in Fredericksburg and on Tuesday afternoons in Boerne.
Dr. Cohn is on the board of directors of Harvester Seeds Foundation, an organization dedicated to serving the underprivileged across the globe. Projects include serving in orphanages, building churches and schools, and performing eye surgeries internationally. Dr. Cohn performed cataract surgeries in Colombia and southern Mexico in 2018 with Medical Ministry International.

Dr. Cohn lives in Comfort with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys watching and playing sports, fishing, hunting, time with family, and is active at his church.
